Random Acts of Kindness
I created the Random Acts Of Kindness award to recognize and applaud people who extend themselves selflessly, on their web pages and in their lives.
Ronnee B. -- For the way she so lovingly supports her friends ... for her brave and tireless work in surviving and fighting for others with breast cancer ... and for her endless, contagious optimism and sunny spirit -- all of which is reflected in her web page.
Neilo -- I used to work with Neil on the CD&D Forum on msn, and have seen -- firsthand and often -- his profound caring and support for people living with chronic illnesses. Neil is proof positive that real men are kind and nurturing ... as well as all that "other stuff" they are. (S)
Sandra -- Nominated by our mutual friend, KatGyrl®, who says, "she's helped me with html probs since the day I met her, walked me thru all kinds of scary stuff...& been there to hold my hand when things went awry [on line] & in my personal life." Way to go, Sandra!
KatGyrl® -- For her invaluable, enthusiastic help in getting me started on my web page ...for sharing Tygrrr's experience for all of us "cat people" to learn from ... for all the fabulous fontsand midis she shares with us ... for her sensitive tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales ... and just for being an all-around terrific person.
Miss Chicky -- Always there with empathy and compassion, Erin's homepage offers support and understanding to survivors of child abuse and to people in recovery, as well as celebrating family and the most important thing any of us will ever do -- loving each other.
Mike S. -- Mike is an extremely rare breed: a knowledgable techie who doesn't sneer at or talk down to earthlings but, instead, speaks understandable English and offers help above and beyond the call of chivalry. But even better, he's a guy who clearly and enthusiastically loves his family ... which is the real reason he's on this list. Meet Mike and his family at Mike's Universe.
Dale Friesen -- I was so excited to find The Kindness Search Engine! Dale has compiled hundreds of links to sources of acts of love and compassion performed by people all over the web -- How great is that?!?! I could spend days visiting all these terrific people. Gold stars to Dale!
Chris & Audrey -- Kindness to animals warms the very center of our souls, and Chris and Audrey have created a vertiable bonfire of love with and for their kitties. My favorite new feature on their web page is a home-finding service for cats who are in desperate need of help. Thanks, {{{Chris & Audrey}}}, for all you do!
DID/MPD Sites -- Each of these sites are supportive of people living with DID/MPD, and are loving crafted by the web authors who have won this award. If you're looking for safe web sites, you couldn't do better than these: Split Angels; Our World; Inside Out ; Silent Legacy
